Ashley Butts

Instructor at United We Dance

​Ashley has been dancing for most of her life.  Ashley is a former dancer at United We Dance.  After high school, Ashley began her college career at Winthrop and finished up at College of Charleston.  Ashley has performed all over the Charleston area and has begun teaching master classed for different intensives in the South Carolina area.  Ashley recently performed in a show for Moranz productions.

Monica Fabunan

Instructor at United We Dance

Monica began her dance training with Ms. V in 1996.  Even as a child, Monica was performing with Ms. V and Ms. Kelly in the Serenade Show.  Now present day, Monica is a featured dancer in many of the shows Brad and Jennifer Moranz produce at The Charleston Music Hall.  Monica has danced on cruise ships, danced on television, and teaches master classes all over South Carolina.  Monica is an unbelievable dancer in all genres, but is becoming known for hip hop.  She recently choreographed a routine for the Blythewood High School dance team.

Kelly Drake

Assistant Director/Choreographer of United We Dance

Ms. Kelly started dancing at an early age in Mullins, SC.  She started her performing career at Carowinds and other theme parks all over the country.  Kelly was a dance at The Carolina Opry in Myrtle Beach and then transferred to the Serenade Show here in Charleston.  After the Serenade Show closed, Kelly began teaching and choreographing.  In addition to teaching, Kelly makes costumes for dance, ballroom, and fitness throughout Charleston.  This past year, Kelly choreographed an episode of Army Wives, as well as performed in the scene.  Ms. Kelly is married to Geoffrey Drake and has two children, Azlyn and Zach.

Veronica Walker

Owner and Director of United We Dance

Ms. V danced and taught for her mother throughout her high school.  After graduating high school, she earned a BFA in dance from Columbia College.  While in college, Veronica spent summers dancing at Carowinds.  After graduation, she moved straight to Charleston and began singing and dancing in the Serenade Show.  While performing in the show, Ms. V started teaching for Robert Ivey.  She was also teaching jazz at the College of Charleston.  Veronica coached the C of C dance team around this time.  She was also the dance team coach at Summerville High School.  After the Serenade show closed, Veronica taught at Rollings School of the Arts.  She ended up purchasing Robert Ivey's Summerville studio and renaming it United We Dance.  Aside from running a dance studio, Veronica teaches master classed, serves as a guest choreographer and judge for dance competitions.  This past year she choreographed an episode of Army Wives.  Veronica is married to Kenny Walker and has two daughters, Bailey and Kenley.
